The customer’s cell phone unlock order failed! Do you know how to resubmit a Dhru Fusion order?
You know that feeling when a WooCommerce order fails. Not to mention, while processing a Dhru Fusion cell phone unlock request.
As a matter of fact, you don’t have to be using the StockUnlocks plugin with WooCommerce for this to happen. Of course, any WordPress powered website can experience this.
Nevertheless, you are visiting a cell phone unlock resource website, right? So, we’re going to show you …
How to Resubmit a Dhru Fusion Order
To resubmit a Dhru Fusion order, you’ll need to:
- Find a WooCommerce order with the status “Processing error”
- Change the order status to “Processing”
- Resubmit the order for processing
The StockUnlocks plugin for WordPress automates many of the tedious tasks of running a mobile unlocking website. Of course, it’s nice to have a plugin that can:
- Collect and verify mobile device IMEI numbers
- Send unlock codes and messages to your customers
- Update your unlocking service prices when your supplier’s prices change
… and the list goes on.
What Causes a Dhru Fusion Order to Fail?
The actual mobile unlocking process may not go so smooth from time to time. Of course, your supplier may not be able to unlock a given device for various reasons.
In the first place, the wrong mobile device may have been submitted. For example, selecting the wrong carrier. A device locked to T-Mobile instead of AT&T was submitted.
Additionally, the mobile device may not be eligible to be unlocked because it’s still under contract.
Under these circumstances, a message is sent to both the website administrator and the customer.
The message will read similar to this:
Your Order number was Not Found On Database/Not Available ...
This “Order Rejected Message” lists the possible reasons why. Additionally, the message explains the terms regarding a refund being provided.
When Your Website Can’t Speak
What do you do if you receive what’s called a “processing error”? A processing error occurs when your website cannot communicate with the supplier’s website.
In other words, the StockUnlocks plugin failed to transmit the necessary information to your supplier.
- You don’t have enough money in your account with your supplier
- The supplier’s website was temporarily offline or inaccessible at that moment
- Changes were made to a particular unlocking service that your website was attempting to access
- Your website hosting service temporarily lost contact with the outside world
Whatever the case, the website administrator will receive a message similar to this:
Dear StockUnlocks Plugin Admin:
This message is to inform you that there has been an Order Processing Error/Failure ...
The StockUnlocks plugin will include the details regarding the error in order to assist you in resolving the problem(s).
What They Don’t Know Won’t Hurt You
One important note: The customer will not be notified regarding certain processing errors because the information contained in the message may prove to be a little embarrassing for the website owner.
How would you like for your customers to know that their order(s) could not be processed due to you not having sufficient funds on reserve with your supplier? You’re welcome.
Getting back to the “Order Submit Error Message”, you might see something like this at the end of the message:
Once resolved, it may be necessary to reset the above order's status to "Processing" as it has not been submitted to your Provider.
Resolve the Error, Resubmit the Order
Ok, you’ve resolved the reason for the error. Here’s how you change a specific order’s status when using the WooCommerce plugin with your WordPress powered website:
Step 1: Log into your WordPress website and navigate over to the “Dashboard”
Step 2: Locate the order whose status needs to be changed
Step 3: Change the order Status
“Processing error” means that the order was never successfully submitted to your provider. You haven’t been charged for this order.
“Processing” is the state of an order after the customer payment has been received.
Changing the order status back to “Processing” gives the StockUnlocks plugin another chance to submit the mobile unlock order details to your supplier.
After you have changed the order status, find the “Order actions” area and click the “Update” button to save your changes.
The Cron schedule will take care of the rest for you.
Your Plugin Doesn’t Work!
The StockUnlocks plugin may appear to be stuck. From time to time, it’s not processing orders. This is especially so when testing new websites.
This may be the case when there is no traffic on the website in question.
StockUnlocks uses WordPress methods for accessing the cron schedule. Thus, StockUnlocks joins other WordPress functions that rely on cron being activated.
WordPress Cron runs when a visitor comes to your site. For example, if an hour has gone by and no one visits your site, WordPress Cron will never kick off.
Simply visit your website’s homepage in order to kick off WordPress Cron tasks.
No, you won’t have to resubmit a Dhru Fusion order again.
If you don’t have an active website, there are ways to have WordPress Cron run tasks according to the pre-determined time frame.
This involves using the operating system based cron. We will show you how to set this up in a future post.
You should now understand how to resubmit a Dhru Fusion order. Therefore, when you receive the “Processing error” message you can:
- First, resolve the reason for the error. Add credits with your supplier, etc.
- Locate the problem order with the “Processing error” status
- Change the order status to “Processing” and update the order
- Allow the allotted time for the StockUnlocks plugin via WordPress Cron to resubmit a Dhru Fusion order
