UPDATE: The StockUnlocks Plugin for WordPress is now available.
I came up with the idea to build my own mobile phone unlocking website back in June 2012, but I didn’t really start any work on it until August 2012. Many all-nighters and long weekends later, I officially launched this site on December 11, 2012.
I’ve been tweaking it ever since, but the tweaks are becoming less and less as time goes by.
Now I want to show you how to do it. Why? Because a nice group of people, a great community, got together and gave me something for free that allows me to do what I do. Maybe, together, we can polish this thing up and make it far superior to what it is today. I know we can. In the end, you can walk away with your very own mobile phone unlocking website, for free.
It all starts with Drupal. I’m preparing my materials and instructional outline now. In the meantime, if you’re not familiar with it, please read all that you can about Drupal and installing it locally.
Follow me on Twitter and get ready for the series of announcements regarding the next steps in building your own mobile phone unlocking website. In the meantime, you may read the StockUnlocks blog to get the history about how this website came about OR check out the StockUnlocks.com list of what you need to do to get ready for the tutorial.
I only ask that you have a basic Drupal 7.x installation already up and running in your environment of choice. I’m not going to walk you through that since there are way too many videos on YouTube that will help you with the initial set up. Just search the web for “Installing Drupal 7”.
We’re going to focus exclusively on what it takes to make your Drupal installation do what mine is doing right now: Remotely unlocking mobile devices.
Stand by for the next tweet from StockUnlocks.com!
